Invitation for Art Commissions

Are you interested in commissioning a one-of-a-kind work of art? We invite you to explore the possibility of creating an exceptional piece through our art commission process.

The Process

To start, send your request via email to hello@amandacarolcollection.com. During your initial complimentary consultation, we will discuss your vision, including:

• The number of pieces you’d like to commission
• Dimensions for each piece (standard or custom sizing options are available)
• Framing preference
• Your desired completion date (Please provide sufficient advance notice to ensure we can accommodate your desired timeline).

Expect the call to last about an hour. If you have prior commission experience, it may be quicker; if this is your first time, you have multiple pieces, or you're exploring new creative directions, allow for extra time.

After the call, we'll review our notes, provide a summary, and offer an all-inclusive total price (including art, framing, packaging, and shipping) for the commission.  Once all details are agreed upon, we collect a 50% deposit to secure your commission. 

Please Note:

To ensure a smooth process, here are a few key points to keep in mind:

• Amanda can create pieces with a color palette or composition similar to an inspiration, but she doesn’t replicate previous works. Each piece is tailored to your specifications, ensuring your satisfaction and safeguarding your investment
• Attendees on the initial call should include a final approval authority (typically the person responsible for paying for the art) to ensure that we address your needs effectively and avoid miscommunication.
• Painting is both an art and a science. Certain effects, like "wet on wet blending," can only be achieved before the paint dries. While some adjustments may be simple to add, they can be tough to remove. Therefore, it’s crucial to establish a clear vision from the outset, as changes later aren’t always feasible.
• We include one round of revisions at no cost; additional changes will incur a surcharge.
• There is a $2000 minimum for commissions.
