Commissions

Invitation for Art Commissions

Commissioning a work of art is an intimate and collaborative process—one rooted in trust, vision, and intention. We invite a limited number of clients each month to explore the possibility of creating a bespoke, one-of-a-kind piece with Amanda.

Please Note:

Commissions begin at $3500, with priority given to existing clients. Amanda accepts a maximum of two commissions per month, selected carefully to ensure each project receives the attention and creative focus it deserves.  Our commission schedule is currently full, and we are now accepting names for the waitlist.

To be considered, please contact us at hello@amandacarolcollection.com. Approved inquiries will be invited to proceed to the next stage of the process.

The Process

Phase One: Initial Inquiry & art consultation

To begin, please send an email outlining your interest in a commission. Selected inquiries will be invited to a complimentary art consultation, during which we will discuss:

• Your overall vision for the work

• Budget expectations

• Desired timeline

• Number of pieces and general scale

• Framing considerations

This initial call allows us to determine whether the project is a mutual fit creatively, logistically, and energetically. Calls typically last up to one hour, depending on the scope and complexity of the request.

Following this conversation, we will review all details internally. If the commission is approved, you will be invited to proceed to Phase Two.

Phase Two: Commission Planning Call

Approved clients will move forward with a Zoom planning call with us, we will walk through logistics, timeline expectations, pricing structure, and next steps.

After this call, you will receive:

• A written summary of the agreed-upon details

• An all-inclusive commission proposal, covering the artwork, framing, packaging, and shipping

50% deposit is required to secure your place on the commission calendar.

Notes on the Process:

To ensure clarity and alignment, please keep the following in mind:

• Amanda may work within a similar color family, mood, or compositional direction, but she does not replicate past works. Each commission is entirely original.

• All pieces are hand-crafted. Subtle variations, texture, and imperfections are inherent to the process and are part of what makes each work singular and valuable.

• The initial discovery call should include the final decision-maker to ensure clarity around scope, budget, and approvals.

• Painting is both intuitive and technical. Certain techniques must be executed at specific stages, making late-stage changes difficult or impossible. Establishing a clear vision early is essential.

One round of revisions is included. Additional revisions may be accommodated for an additional fee, depending on scope.
