Q: I love your frames! Where do you get them?

A: Thank you!  The frames our clients enjoy are a result of both personal and professional relationships established over many years.

My husband was born in New England and his extended family has been in the antique business since he was a boy. They source their furnishings from all over the northeast of the United States and the eastern provinces of Canada. They’ve been a tremendous help to us in identifying great places to find our vintage frames.

Additionally, through my work as an Interior Designer and our travels as a couple, we’ve been able to build both personal and professional relationships with furnishings sources in Europe. Their help and expertise in identifying great pieces and working with us to get them shipped in a timely way through customs has been invaluable.

Each week, we scour these sources and a few others, looking for frames we think will make great art. Literally hundreds are passed over simply because they don’t meet our standards. The ones we like, get purchased and shipped to us for use in my art.
